Consulting Agreement Short US Sample
Parties Involved:
Consultant: Jane Doe Consulting
Address: 123 Main Street, New York, NY 10001
Client: Acme Corporation
Address: 456 Business Road, New York, NY 10002
Scope of Work:
The Consultant shall provide professional consulting services related to business strategy and process improvement as outlined in the attached scope of work document.
Compensation:
The Client agrees to pay the Consultant a fee of $5,000 per month, payable within 15 days of invoice submission. Additional expenses shall be prepaid or reimbursed as agreed.
Term:
This agreement shall commence on January 1, 2024, and shall continue for a period of three (3) months, ending on March 31, 2024, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this agreement.
Consultant Responsibilities:
The Consultant shall perform services diligently and professionally, delivering reports and insights as agreed, and maintaining confidentiality of all client information.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within New York County.
Additional Provisions:
- Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality for all proprietary information received during the term.
- This agreement may only be modified by written amendment signed by both parties.
- Either party may terminate this agreement with 15 days written notice, with obligations for payment for services rendered prior to termination.
